Bindery's Relevance

Notegeist Bindery celebrates enjoying a good notebook handcrafted one at a time. In our world of mass-produced goods, often imported from far outside the U.S., it's refreshing to return to using something locally made, or if not locally, at least slowly, by hand, with intention.

Old School

Gotta love the tactile feel of a great pencil or fountain pen on fantastic paper. Quality analog stationery goods are avilable now more than ever, yet, the trend is for mass-production and sourcing from places faraway. Notegeist BIndery does things the old way: by hand, one at a time, with quality control paramount and customer satisfaction the reward.

Maker

Small businesses who make things are slowly fading under the weight of big box stores and goods imported from out of the country—a good reason to find and support makers. Handcrafted goods are, to some, a relic of the past but to those who appreciate the concept, makers are worth supporting.

Service

Service used to be a respected word, a worthy goal in doing the right thing. I treat my customers as I like to be treated when buying from stationery shops: With patience, goods well-protected in shipping, always willing to hear suggestions and receive requests, and above all, if I goof, I make it right.
